The first historical documents about Pratale date back to the 10th Century, and records show Pratale became part of the Badia a Passignano estate in 1054. Since 1965, Pratale has been in the hands of our Coli family. We are located in the city of Tavarnelle Val di Pesa, and our property covers an area of 80 hectars (200 acres), part of which is dedicated to growing grapes for our Chianti Classico Gallo Nero.
In the beautiful Tuscan countryside, traditional estates with Italian cypresses dot the landscape in between the vineyards and lush forests. The rural houses of the Pratale Farm have become a fundamental part of this natural landscape.
